Kiersten rose

Hailing from the Midwest, Kiersten's upbringing was steeped in the rich tapestry of music, influenced by her father's performances as a drummer in various bands. Her musical journey commenced at the age of six with piano lessons, igniting a passion that crystallized into a determination to pursue a professional career in music by the time she reached ten.

With a robust background in performance across diverse venues, Kiersten has written and produced four independent albums spanning the Contemporary Christian, Pop and Jazz genres. Her academic journey culminated in Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Jazz Studies from Webster University. Notably, her co-authorship of "Your Love is Enough" secured the prestigious Christian/Gospel Song of the Year accolade at the Josie Music Awards in 2020.

Joining the ranks of the Institute for Modern Worship in 2024, Kiersten brings with her a profound commitment to empowering worship leaders in exploring the essence and methodology of worship. Drawing from over 35 years of experience, she has led worship in myriad churches, conferences, and gatherings across the nation, leveraging insights gleaned from diverse Christian denominations to cultivate a worship culture that resonates with both seasoned believers and newcomers alike.

In 2024, the band SOCIAL TONIC was formed with her husband Bryan, and some of her favorite musician friends from the St. Louis area. They truly enjoy the artistry, creativity and chemistry they have playing together.

Residing in St. Louis, Missouri, alongside her husband, Bryan, Kiersten cherishes time spent nurturing their blended family of five adult children and two granddaughters. Beyond her musical pursuits, she finds solace in cultivating her expansive vegetable garden, crafting culinary delights from its bounty, and collaborating with her husband on the restoration of their 1950s ranch home.
